Firefighters Battle Six-Alarm Blaze at Roxbury Commercial Building

On Monday morning, a six-alarm fire erupted in the two-story commercial building located at 72 Warren Street in Nubian Square, Roxbury. Fire crews arrived shortly before 7:30 a.m., finding the structure enveloped in smoke and immediately began fighting the blaze from the exterior since no occupants were inside. Officials confirmed that thousands of feet of hose have been deployed to draw water from hydrants two blocks away while surrounding streets remain closed due to heavy traffic.
