Musk Forecasts Trillion-Dollar SpaceX Revenue By 2027

Elon Musk predicted that Space Exploration Technologies could generate annual recurring revenue between $500 billion and $1 trillion by the end of 2027. This forecast relies on expanding satellite internet connectivity, artificial intelligence compute capacity reaching up to 20 gigawatts, and accelerating launch cadence with Starship rockets flying weekly or twice a week. Although SpaceX shares surged approximately 9% following these projections after its initial public offering, the company acknowledged that meeting all targets is not guaranteed due to operational risks.
