Charlamagne Slams EJ Johnson Over Rihanna Snub

Popular radio host Charlamagne Tha God criticized actor and social media personality EJ Johnson for criticizing pop star Rihanna following Paris Fashion Week. On an episode of The Brilliant Ideas podcast, Charlamagne told co-host Andrew Schulz that Johnson was out of order for his earlier comments about the event.

Charlamagne stated Johnson had crossed a line by questioning certain celebrities. "EJ, now EJ, you know I love you, but you got to know your limitations," he said. He added that there are levels to celebrity status and implied Rihanna belonged to an untouchable tier of stars.

The exchange began after Johnson's viral vlog about attending the Dior fashion show, where he claimed they did not care to wait for Rihanna because she arrived late. Charlamagne argued that while Rihanna is a global pop star with successful business ventures like FENTY BEAUTY and serves as the face of Dior fragrances, her status places her beyond easy criticism.

Johnson sparked further tension after his comments regarding the fashion show's timing.
