Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni Defends Player Effort Amid Fifth Loss

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni defended his staff's effort following their fifth consecutive loss, stating he did not identify lack of intensity as the primary cause for recent defeats. While acknowledging injuries and a talent deficit have impacted performance across both offense and defense, Sirianni emphasized that every play is graded based on assignment alignment and effort during practices and games. He noted that while players do not perform perfectly in any game, specific plays were reviewed to highlight positive standards rather than attributing losses solely to low effort levels.
