Denver landmark to project pets; scholarship alum shares success story

Downtown Denver's Daniels and Fisher Tower will display pet photos in high definition on December 12. Owners can participate by submitting an image, completing an entry form, and donating $50 to Humane Colorado for animal welfare efforts. The event runs until midnight that night with a repeat showing scheduled for January 17, 2027.

Separately, the Denver Scholarship Foundation is marking its twentieth anniversary on Friday by highlighting alumni achievements. Angelo "DjLo" Fajardo, CEO of Nativo Entertainment and a first-generation college student, credited the foundation's guidance with helping him navigate financial aid and pursue his music career after high school.
