Woman Stabs To Death Chicago's Edimari Hernandez Chacon

A seven-year-old girl named Edimari Hernandez Chacon was fatally stabbed on Saturday morning while walking along South Cottage Grove Avenue in the East Chatham neighborhood of Chicago. Police identified her as a victim who had no involvement with prior events, and security footage suggests she may have been accompanied by an adult before the attack occurred at approximately 11:55 a.m. The suspect was described as an adult woman who approached the child from behind, displayed a sharp object, and stabbed her multiple times in the back.
