Cramer Calls Stock Sellers Stupid After Earnings Beat
Jim Cramer criticized investors selling GE Vernova shares despite the company beating earnings estimates. Shares of GE Vernova fell over 3% on Wednesday morning even though revenue hit $12.64 billion and per-share earnings reached $4.81, surpassing analyst expectations for both metrics. The energy firm has now achieved eight consecutive revenue beats and seven straight EPS beats in the last ten quarters. Cramer tweeted that he does not understand how sellers can think when facing such positive results after raising full-year guidance to between $46.5 billion and $47.5 billion. Additionally, GE Vernova announced a nine-billion-dollar acquisition of Trench Group to strengthen its vertical integration capabilities.
