Costco Teases Return of Popular Food Court Item
A popular food court item is returning to Costco warehouses, though the specific dish has not yet been revealed by the retailer. On Wednesday, September 16, the company posted a teaser video on Instagram showing two individuals looking at an unseen menu inside a store while discussing bringing back "BEEP" for a limited time before cutting to black with the text "To be continued...".
Fans have offered various guesses via social media regarding which item is returning. These suggestions include fries, twisted churros, and the famous combo pizza, described as a supreme-style pizza topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, and black olives.
Recent additions to Costco food courts illustrate the types of items being introduced or modified. Earlier this year, members received a hot dog and bottled water combination for $1.50; while they could swap traditional fountain soda for Kirkland Signature water, the original hot dogs remained unchanged. In July, the retailer officially launched chicken tenders nationwide at $6.99 per basket, featuring five strips with dipping sauce similar to Chick-fil-A's honey mustard option after testing in select markets since May.
