Cameroon Seek Perfect Start in AFCON Qualifiers Against Le Roy's Congo

The Indomitable Lions aim to extend a perfect start by hosting Republic of the Congo on Tuesday at Stade Alphonse Massamba-Debat. Cameroon, who defeated Comoros 3-1 in their opening match with goals from Nyengue, Mbeumo, and Namaso, seeks six points from two matches in Group G. In contrast, the Red Devils are managed by Claude Le Roy, a former Cameroon coach who led them to AFCON glory in 1988; however, Congo suffered a 1-0 home defeat against Namibia last Thursday with limited attacking efficiency. While historical records show unbeaten status between these two sides dating back to the 1970s, recent form has diverged significantly as both nations compete for qualification spots.
