Illinois WR Collin Dixon Ties Historic Record

As Illinois prepared for a matchup against Nebraska on November 4, 2026, wide receiver Collin Dixon tied the team record by recording his tenth touchdown of the season. This achievement matched Pat Bryant's single-season total from seven years prior and marked the first time in school history that two players reached ten touchdowns simultaneously within one year. Through eight games, Dixon had accumulated sixty receptions for 781 yards and four touchdowns while accounting for forty-two percent of Illinois' receiving yardage and fifty-nine percent of their touchdown catches.
