City Blocks Closed for Chicago Marathon Weekend

Drivers should expect road closures and parking restrictions across Chicago this weekend ahead of Sunday's race, with major streets near Grant Park shut down from Thursday through Monday afternoon. Race-day shutdowns begin at 4 a.m. on Sunday and last until 8 p.m., while vehicles will be towed if found in no-parking zones. Specific blocked areas include Jackson Drive, Balbo Drive, Columbus Drive, Michigan Avenue, and Roosevelt Road, with timing varying by location.
