Stock E-Ray Beats Modded Z06 at Famoso Dragstrip

Two C8 Corvettes competed in a drag race at California's Famoso Dragstrip, featuring the stock Corvette E-Ray against a modified Z06. The E-Ray utilized its hybrid system and all-wheel drive to generate 655 combined horsepower from its V8 engine, while the opponent produced 670 hp using a high-revving flat-plane crank V8 with bolt-on modifications including an exhaust and cold air intake. Although the stock E-Ray achieved a strong launch advantage thanks to its electric torque, the modified Z06 managed to close the gap significantly during the race.
