LAFD: SUV Crash Kills Three and Injures Six in Chatsworth

At least two people were killed when a vehicle collided with a Metro bus on Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred at the intersection of Nordhoff Street and De Soto Avenue in the Chatsworth area, just after 5 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department officials. One person died inside the bus while another passenger ejected from the vehicle also succumbed to injuries. A third fatality was confirmed by Metro as being the driver of the SUV that struck the eastbound Line 166 bus. Six additional people were transported to nearby hospitals, with two in critical condition.
