Canucks Face Ducks in Game #12 Preview

The Vancouver Canucks (2-10-1) host the Anaheim Ducks (5-6-0) on October 27, 2026. The Canucks project Jake DeBrusk leading a lineup with Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson in the forward group, while injured goaltender Thatcher Demko sits out due to hip issues. Key players like Paul Cotter return from injury for Vancouver's third defensive pairing alongside Jamie Oleksiak. In contrast, Anaheim projects Cutter Gauthier as their starting goalie despite injuries to Ian Moore and Troy Terry. Ducks head coach Joel Quenneville emphasized the need to capitalize on home crowds following a recent road trip that yielded only one win against Philadelphia.
