Bucaramanga faces Pasto seeking second win of the season

Atlético Bucaramanga is set to host Deportivo Pasto in a crucial match aimed at securing their spot among the top eight teams for the Liga 2026-II playoffs. The 'Búcaros' arrive at Américo Montanini Stadium after consecutive losses against Boyacá Chicó and Independiente Santa Fe, with fans from both clubs permitted entry following approval by the Local Football Commission. Bucaramanga's coach Pablo Peirano has named a roster including Luis Mateus and Cristhofer Fiermarín for this Friday evening fixture starting at 8:05 PM local time. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Diego Novoa suffered a Grade I left gluteal muscle strain during his substitute appearance against Boyacá Chicó; the club confirmed he is undergoing rehabilitation under doctor Raúl Rodríguez without an estimated return date.
