Dolphins Mock Trade Brian Thomas Jr. To Jacksonville

The Miami Dolphins acquired wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. in a mock trade scenario involving the exchange of a 2027 third-round pick for Jacksonvilles former first-round selection, according to reports from Bleacher Report.

Thomas played at LSU before being selected by Jacksonville in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft where he recorded 87 catches and 10 touchdowns during his rookie season. His production declined significantly last year with only two scores on 48 receptions, while his output through four games this season remains low.

The Dolphins are currently struggling under new quarterback Malik Willis after replacing Tyreek Hill in the wide receiver room. Analysts suggest acquiring Thomas could provide necessary help to Miami's offense given their current struggles and need for additional receiving talent.
