Billy Crystal Opens New Show '860' on Broadway Tonight
Emmy and Tony winner Billy Crystal began performances of his new solo show, "860," at the Imperial Theatre in Los Angeles's West Hollywood district tonight. The production runs for 14 weeks through January 3, 2027, with an official opening scheduled for October 21.
Directed by Scott Ellis and featuring original music by Marc Shaiman, the show centers on Crystal reflecting on his memories following the loss of his longtime California home in the Palisades Fire. The title refers to the address of that residence, which stood for 46 years before being destroyed. In an earlier statement, Crystal expressed excitement about returning to Broadway with this challenging new work.
Crystal previously debuted on stage in "700 Sundays" during his 2004 Broadway debut, a memoir-based production that earned him a Tony Award and later returned as an HBO special.
