Ashley Judd Accuses UK of Silence on Campus Sexual Assaults

Actress and University of Kentucky alumna Ashley Judd has publicly accused the university of remaining silent regarding sexual assaults against sorority members. Speaking via a social media video, Judd stated that specific incidents involving Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters were suppressed by both fraternity members and school officials to protect perpetrators from accountability.

Judd claimed she is aware of several survivors whose stories never received public attention or adequate support during the incident. She emphasized that victims deserved justice and care but felt deprived due to institutional denial. In response, University of Kentucky Vice President Kirsten Turner thanked Judd for speaking out on behalf of survivors, affirming that all such cases are condemned by the school.
