Arsenal Women Face Benfica at Meadow Park

UEFA Women's Champions League action returns to Borehamwood as Arsenal hosts Portuguese rivals Benfica on Wednesday evening. The match begins with Geraldine Reuteler and Elisa De Almeida making their first starts for the Gunners, while Ona Batlle takes her usual position at right-back in a lineup that sees Alessia Russo captain the side in all red. Meanwhile, Benfica arrives motivated after winning four of their opening five league matches but faces an injury absence to key striker Nycole Raysla. Manager Renée Slegers acknowledged his team's strong identity and compact structure following last year's away victory against them.
