Brazil Votes End at 5 PM; TSE Begins Counting Results

The official results for the 2026 Brazilian presidential election begin to be released at 5:00 PM (Brasília time), immediately after voting concludes nationwide. The Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) starts processing encrypted data from electronic ballot boxes in real-time, with updates available through its portal or app without cost for prepaid mobile users. While the first round ends on Sunday, October 4th, a potential second round between Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Flávio Bolsonaro is scheduled for October 25 if neither candidate reaches 50% of valid votes.
