Mistress Testifies Flynn Wanted Wife Dead Before Shooting

Alleigha Botner testified that her affair with former American Idol contestant Caleb Flynn escalated into disturbing threats against his wife, Ashley. Over a year before the fatal shooting in February 2025, Flynn repeatedly told Botner he wanted to kill Ashley and expressed willingness to do so without going to jail. Prosecutors presented thousands of recovered messages from their relationship containing explicit statements about wanting her dead or gone. Flynn is accused of fatally shooting his wife inside their Tipp City home while staging the scene as an intruder burglary.
