Semeniuk Hails Grbić Praise After Winning European Championship

Polish volleyball player Kamil Semeniuk praised Nikola Grbic's words following the team's victory at the 2026 European Championships. The Polish national team defeated Slovenia with a score of three sets to zero (25:23, 25:23, 25:18) and secured their spot in the final against France.

During the match, Semeniuk served as an extra hitter who replaced Wilfredo Leon during the third set. His entry helped Poland overcome a significant deficit to win that set. Afterward, Slovenian player Klemen Cebulj complimented Semeniuk for changing the game's rhythm and stopping one of the world's top setters.

Semeniuk expressed his happiness with receiving such recognition from an opponent. He noted that while it is difficult against strong teams like Slovenia who have added talent to their blocking and serving, he was glad to step onto the court actively assist the squad.
