Police Chase Ends: Man Who Assaulted Officer Arrested

A man who assaulted a police officer during an attempt to stop him on his electric motorcycle has been arrested, ending the search. The incident occurred in Krężnica Jarej near Lublin on October 1 when officers conducting a speed control saw the speeding vehicle without license plates and signaled it to stop. The driver ignored orders, ran into one of the officers, abandoned his bike, and fled into the woods. A police rescue team pursued him for nearly twenty-four hours with dozens of agents including trackers before he was caught at night. Police confirmed the officer's injuries are serious but not life-threatening; the man is sober and currently being questioned to determine if the assault was intentional or caused by a loss of control.
