Warszawa prepares for record-breaking Maraton Warsaw 2026

Polish runners are increasingly registering for major urban races, with the current edition of Maraton Warszawski already exceeding its 14,000-person limit. The event will take place on September 27th at Świętokrzyska Street and is accompanied by a three-day festival in Warsaw's center featuring training sessions and design installations. Public transport operator WTP has announced that buses will use detours during the race while service changes begin Friday, ensuring runners access to the course.
