Six-Year-Old Dies After Drowning at Family Gathering in Kujawskie

A six-year-old boy died after falling into a water tank during a family celebration on September 26 in the village of Dąbie Kujawskie. Police and medical personnel arrived to find the child missing from an adult-supervised event, where he was recovered near a restaurant complex but could not be resuscitated despite emergency efforts including air support. Prosecutors are investigating whether this constitutes negligence or accidental death by examining surveillance footage, noting that one parent confirmed sobriety while details remain under review.
