Firefighters Contain Roof Fire at Białystok Construction Site

A fire broke out on the roof of a building under construction in central Białystok, located near Sienkiewicza Street. Eleven firefighting detachments are fighting the blaze using three mechanical ladders. The structure is unoccupied and no injuries have been reported by firefighters from the local brigade. Smoke was visible from several kilometers away as the fire remained contained without spreading further. Preliminary estimates suggest the operation will continue for at least a few more hours while investigators determine the cause of the ignition.
