Kwaśniewski Warns of Karol Nawrocki's Dangerous Plan
Former President Aleksander Kwaśniewski warned on Radio ZET that current President Karol Nawrocki has a dangerous plan to undermine Prime Minister Donald Tusk's government. According to Kwaśniewski, the goal is for the divided right-wing coalition to win over 50 percent of votes in the 2027 parliamentary election and then act as an executive agent under the constitution to appoint the prime minister.
Kwaśniewski described this scenario as a path toward transforming Poland into a presidential system without formally amending the constitution. He noted that Nawrocki is more ideologically close to the Confederation party than traditional PiS, possessing greater independence from his political base compared to President Andrzej Duda.
