Victoria Starmer Models at Edeline Lee London Fashion Week Show

Lady Victoria Starmer participated in a London fashion week show, marking one of her first public appearances since Prime Minister Keir Starmer resigned. She attended the Sunday presentation by designer Edeline Lee, whose work has been favored by Princess Diana and worn by celebrities including Taylor Swift and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The spring/summer 2027 collection was presented in a north London school sports hall rather than a traditional venue.

Starmer wore a bright turquoise knitted midi dress featuring high neckline, pleated detailing, short sculptural sleeves, white block-heeled shoes, and loose waves for her hair. Unlike typical backstage preparations, models were fitted and adjusted while visible to the audience during Lee's unique presentation format. Dancers rehearsed beside the runway as a drone captured proceedings from above.

Photographs showed Starmer having makeup applied near the catwalk against a football net backdrop with products displayed on tables nearby. Ballet dancers stretched alongside synchronized performers in bright red costumes within Chalk Farm school grounds. The collection drew inspiration from Greek mythology, specifically Sisyphus condemned to push a boulder uphill repeatedly only for it to roll back down each time he reached the summit.

"There's a general feeling right now of relentlessness, a Sisyphean cycle," Lee stated regarding her design philosophy. She noted that while ballet is transporting, the work behind it involves intense training and endless repetition leading toward one ecstatic moment.
