Molly joins GBBO 2026 as accessibility expert

The Great British Bake Off returns with twelve new contestants for the 2026 series on Channel 4. Among them is Molly, a 31-year-old London-based accessibility co-ordinator who turned to baking in 2020 after a difficult health episode to stay motivated. She lives with her husband and their dog Lando while working at a disability charity reviewing transport accessibility. Unlike some contestants who joined on a whim due to external pressure, Molly began baking over twenty-five years ago inspired by her grandmother. Her first appearance will feature the self-portrait showstopper challenge in Week 1, where host Alison Hammond noted that bakers' styles often become evident early and carry through until elimination.
