Manitoba officers also confiscated 20 firearms, 855 prohibited weapons, and nearly $400,000 in cash suspected to be proceeds of crime, up from $125,000 last year. Other notable incidents include the arrest of a woman who drove through the Pembina border station in North Dakota, leading to a police chase that ended with her vehicle in a ditch near Fargo. Additionally, border officials processed over 214,500 commercial trucks and 2.6 million courier shipments, assessing more than $1.8 billion in duties and taxes. In Saskatchewan, the CBSA highlighted achievements from January to October 2025, emphasizing ongoing efforts to combat illegal activities at borders.
