Toronto Weather Forecast: First Snow Expected Soon Amid Cold Shift
Toronto is on the verge of experiencing its first snowfall within days, with early forecasts indicating snow or mixed rain and snow possible on November 9, 10, and 11. Environment Canada reports that Sunday will bring a mix of rain and wet snow, with daytime highs around 5 or 6°C. The chance of snow increases next week, especially in northern parts of the GTA such as Uxbridge, Lake Simcoe, and York Region, due to incoming cold air and lake-effect snow from Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Meteorologist Geoff Coulson advises residents to consider installing winter tires and stay updated on weather changes. Last year, Toronto’s first snowfall occurred on December 4, causing delays and city cleanup efforts.
