Mark Ruffalo Denies Being Fired by Disney Over Political Comments

Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo has confirmed he has not been fired by Disney or Marvel, despite online rumors suggesting otherwise. The actor, known for playing Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, addressed the rumors during promotion of his upcoming film, Crime 101. Ruffalo clarified that he is still part of Marvel projects and maintains a good relationship with Disney. He mentioned, “Not that I know of,” when asked if he has been fired, and emphasized, “I’ll be there as long as they’ll have me.” His co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry also dismissed the rumors, calling them “nonsense.” Ruffalo's outspoken political stance, including recent comments criticizing Donald Trump and ICE at the Golden Globes, led to speculation about his future with Disney. However, he reaffirmed his ongoing involvement with Marvel, including upcoming projects like Spider-Man 4 scheduled for release in July 2026 and potential appearances in Avengers: Secret Wars. Despite the controversy, there is no official confirmation of his departure from Marvel or Disney, and Ruffalo continues to be active in upcoming film productions.
