Niagara Falls, Canada's Wonderland, and Toronto Blue Jays Celebrate World Series Victory with Blue Light Illumination

Niagara Falls will shine blue this weekend to support the Toronto Blue Jays as they advance to the World Series for the first time in 32 years. The Niagara Falls Illumination Board, in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism and Niagara Parks, will light the falls in blue starting at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, coinciding with the first two games of the series played in Toronto. This tradition, dating back to 1860, celebrates special occasions and was renewed in January 2023 when the team visited. Meanwhile, Canada's Wonderland is supporting the Blue Jays by illuminating Wonder Mountain and Windseeker in blue and white from October 23 to 26, and extending to November 1 if the series continues. Staff at Wonderland will also wear Blue Jays caps during Halloween Haunt. Additionally, Toronto's Rogers Centre offers tickets for just $15 for watching the games. The Blue Jays' recent Game 1 victory was a blowout against the Dodgers, fueling excitement across Toronto. Fans are also pushing for the return of the SkyDome name. The team has faced roster changes, with some players cut from the World Series roster, and rookie phenom Yesavage living out of hotels and trucks. Overall, the city and country are rallying behind the Blue Jays with vibrant displays and community support.
